Once more, teens are getting the chance to study Scripture, compete, and grow together — one book at a time. This year: the Gospel of John.
These churches are already in the conversation:
Teen Bible Quizzing is a season-long program where teens study a single book of the Bible in depth — this year, the Gospel of John — and put that knowledge to the test in fast-paced, buzzer-style quiz meets against teams from other churches.
It's part Bible study, part sport: teens memorize Scripture, learn to think on their feet, and compete as a team once a month through the season. It's genuinely fun to watch — quick reflexes, sharp recall, teams cheering each other on — and it builds something that lasts a lot longer than the season does: teens who know God's Word cold, and who did it together.
Meets are planned for the 3rd Saturday of each month, August through June. Host churches and exact dates are still being confirmed — reach out below to help pin one down.
Dates below are a planning placeholder (3rd Saturday of each month) — not yet locked in.
Meets rotate between host churches, roughly once a month through the season.
There's still a place for your church.
Whatever's in the way, chances are it's not a dead end. Let's talk it through.
Every level of involvement helps — pick what fits.
Bring a team, sponsor a team, or host a monthly quiz meet at your church.
We need volunteer leaders willing to run a weekly practice. No quizzing background required — just a willingness to show up for your teens.
Have Teen Quizzing experience? We need adults who can help run and officiate monthly quiz meets across the district.
